I grew up in the kitchen with a family who loved to cook and bake. My grandmother, who I called "Mimi", taught me the art of baking and fostered my endless desire to always be creating new works of art.
After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 2012, and then my son in 2021, I decided to use my baking talent to create my own gluten friendly desserts. Knowing the struggles of being gluten free, I decided to launch My Mimi Cakes to give my fellow gluten free sufferers the closest match to the real thing but without the worry of cross contamination.
In addition to Celiac, I have multiple allergies including tree and peanuts. So rest assured, my kitchen is safe. I am also Food Allergy certified by the ANAB.
I love creating new flavors and designs and would be happy to help accommodate your requests to the best of my ability.
